Now here is where the collection gets highly detailed. There are close to 250 pieces, from as small as 1.5 inches to the life size White Carrara marble statue from Italy. But, except for that all the others are of Asian origin. Various colors of jade, both nephrite and jadeite, black coral and black onyx, soapstone and alabaster (sochow Jade) blood stone to goldstone. Jasper and coral, tiger eye and other quartz. Huge 200 pound 3 ft. rose quartz horses to a 6 ft jade ship. There are three show cases loaded with smalls and shelves of fitted silk boxed carvings. Most everything is shown in the 87 images we have here. There are 14 large major rose quartz carvings with values from $8,000 - $18,000. Only 4 years ago the owner paid in the 6 figures for these. The stone carvings alone could be worth the cost of the entire lot.
